Carleton is a highly selective liberal arts college with a student body of approximately 2,000. Located in the historic and thriving town of Northfield, Minnesota, we are forty five miles south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, whose greater metro area has a diverse population of three million people and a rich variety of cultural resources. We are a community of scholars committed to the goal of excellence in undergraduate education, in research, and in building a more socially just, diverse, and inclusive society in all of our endeavors. We seek candidates who share these values and commitments.

To apply for this position, candidates should submit a letter of application, a curriculum vitae, a course syllabus and an annotated listing of courses you are prepared to teach, graduate transcripts, and a statement of teaching philosophy that addresses our liberal arts environment. Letters of recommendation will be requested for selected candidates following the initial review of materials. These materials should be submitted at https://jobs.carleton.edu. To ensure full consideration, please submit all application materials by August 15, 2021.
